Pre purchase inspections
Buying a car should be fun and exciting, but do you really know that the car you are looking to buy is as described? Is it hiding anything underneath that gleaming exterior and how can you tell? At Performance Assessments we are able to carry out a fully comprehensive check of the vehicle prior to purchase so you know exactly what the condition is, if there are any issues present and what they are.
Auction checks
If you are thinking of buying a vehicle at auction, whether you are an experienced auction buyer or not, it is important to know what you are bidding on before the excitement of the bidding process occurs. We can pre-arrange viewings with auction houses and carry out a tailored check on your chosen vehicle prior to the auction. We can carry out a check to your requirements to cover any items you wish, and will also offer advice on other points picked up during the inspection. This allows you more freedom to bid confidently on the day of the auction.
Valuations
We offer a valuation service, based on actual sold values, auction results and other analytical studies to ensure an accurate valuation can be given. People make the mistake of relying on advertised prices to get an indication of value, whereas the advertised and sold price are two very different beasts. These can be presented to lenders, brokers, or insurance companies for their perusal, helping them and you to make an accurate decision on any financial implications.
Asset checks
Performance Assessments can also carry out regular asset inspections or asset checks prior to finance agreement sign off, on single vehicles, collections, or fleets as required by lenders or insurers as part of their terms, ensuring the assets are still in possession and in a condition as expected as part of the loan agreements.
Porsche specific
Having Porsche specific knowledge allows us to be able to inspect this brand, especially regarding the water-cooled generation of cars. Long discussed issues relating to the intermediate shaft bearing failures, bore scoring, over revs etc are well known with enthusiasts and a point of concern while buying. We carry diagnostic equipment capable of checking all systems for fault codes, mileage discrepancies between the DME and instrument cluster, and a complete record of over-rev activity across available ranges.
