At performance Assessments we are able to carry out a fully comprehensive check of the vehicle prior to purchase so you know exactly what the condition is, if there are any issues present and what they are. We check over 280 specific areas, report on their visual and functional condition, and photograph any issues so not only do you know what could be faulty or poor, but you can see it . We have specific equipment available to check deeper if needed such as diagnostic equipment to check for error codes in the vehicles ECU’s, to paint depth gauges for assessing if the vehicle has had any paint work. We can check paint thicknesses on both steel and aluminium panels ( ferrous and non ferrous). We also carry automotive boroscope equipment so if we need to look into enclosed spaces we can, and also record video or still images of the site. This is especially important when dealing with certain models.
